Since few weeks, some rumors and leaks announced the two first sets of Star Wars for 2022. LEGO revealed today on his online shop pictures for the Snowtrooper battle pack and the Hoth AT-ST.

To start 2022, LEGO decided to make two Star Wars sets from The Empire Strikes Back and the iconic battle of Hoth. The Snowtrooper Battle Pack (75320) will include three figs of Snowtrooper and one Hoth Scout Trooper, exclusive to this set. With only 105 pieces you will obtain a speeder bike, an E-Web blaster and a little base of protection. My only concern is about the price. 19.99€ seems really expensive for this battle pack, especially when you count the ratio price per piece. 0.19€ per piece, it’s definitely too much.

The AT-ST isn’t a vehicle that you will see during the battle of Hoth (just few seconds on the screen), but it looks pretty good. You can rotate the head, open the cockpit or move the legs. It comes also with an Imperial Probe Droid. Three minifigs will accompany this AT-ST : Chewbacca (with a new molded head), an Imperial AT-ST pilot and a rebel trooper. It will be on sale for 49.99€ and has 586 pieces. The two sets will be on sale from the 1st January of 2022.

These two sets look good and I will certainly take the battle pack to increase my collection of Snowtroopers. However, 20€ seems pretty unfair for this battle pack, especially when the last ones were sold at 15€, or 10€ few years ago.
